Stump Grinding in Wallingford, CT
We handle the stump grinding for you after a tree removal. Leave the stump as is, or have it ground out below grade with topsoil and new grass over the top.

Stump ground below grade on a Spinells job
With a removal, or on its own
Most stump grinding we do is the last step of a tree removal. The tree comes down, the stump gets ground, topsoil and seed go over the top, and in a few weeks you cannot tell a tree was there.
We also grind stumps left behind by someone else, or by a tree that fell years ago. One stump or a dozen.
What you get
The stump is ground below grade, deep enough to plant grass over it. The spot gets raked out. If you want the spot ready for seed, we fill it with topsoil and seed it. Just let us know and we take care of it.
The bigger job behind it
If the tree is still standing, the stump is the easy part. Have a look at our tree removal and crane removal pages, or call and Jesse will price the whole job at once.

Yes, if the spot is filled with topsoil and seeded. We do that as part of the job if you ask.
