What Our Customers Say

I don't write reviews often, but I just had to write a review for Spinells. I can't say enough great things about this place! This was our second time using them. My husband called earlier today when a tree that we had been monitoring fell. Today is Saturday. They answered the phone right away and came right over to assess the job and only within 20 minutes or so. (That’s amazing!) It was decided that only a chain saw was needed and that it could be done right then and there. The job was done quickly, professionally, efficiently, and was extremely affordable. We will definitely be doing any future tree work with Spinells. Thank you, you’re awesome!

Hands down the best in the business!

I use Spinells for all my tree removal. Great service!

Fair price, great job, and a pleasure to have working on our property. Thanks Jesse

They did a great job, on time, good price and nice work cleaning up!

Very happy with removal of crab apple tree. Site was cleaned up well & the price was excellent.

Very good to work with great service!

fast, clean, I am very happy with them

We had a giant tree fall down and smash our house in a recent tornado that went through Connecticut. Spinells was at a house two doors down the day after it happened because our neighbor called them. The neighbor said they should come down and talk to us, and we are so glad they did. Jesse was very professional and easy to work with. Despite all the madness around that day he was able to walk us through what it would take to get the crane in there later that afternoon and remove the tree from our living room. The trunk was 38" across! The crew got it off the house and finished chopping it up in the dark just in time for a contractor crew to go up and put a tarp on before the rain came back the next day. Spinells agreed to come back and do the rest of the cleanup later on after helping others with emergency services, and over the next ten days or so they came back twice to clean up all the wood, haul the giant stump away, and grind another tree down that had also damaged the house. They removed the mulch, backfilled the hole, graded the land, and even put grass seed down. Zero hassle, excellent service. My neighbor on the other side was still waiting for his "tree guy" to show up and chip the tree that they had down when Spinells had already finished seeding. They are probably not the cheapest gig around, but for the work they did and the timeline they did it on we are 100% satisfied with the cost. They took good care of our property and were very responsive the whole time. We'll be using them again.

Jesse and his team showed up at my house on time with lots of big equipement: huge tree cutter with a 108 foot reach, a chipper, Vermeer skid steer, log truck, chip truck, bucket truck, climbing gear and more chainsaws, rakes and blowers than I could count. Jesse had provided me with a fairly priced quote for the work to be performed. He and his team spent almost two full days removing dead tress and several live trees that were shading the south side of my roof (for future solar). I was impressed with his team as they were cleaning, raking and blowing the yard as they moved around my property. They took away four full truckloads of chips, several log trucks of large wood and left my property raked and blown clean. Jesse was careful with how he drove from my asphalt driveway onto my lawn in an attempt not to further damage my broken up driveway. 25 ton trucks are heavy and could leave tire marks in your yard. If you lawn is soft it's better to let it dry out before they show up with the really big trucks. Luckily for me the ground was dry and pretty firm. Just be aware of your particular situation. I know my RAM4500 leaves pretty good tracks when my lawn is wet. I would highly recommend Jesse and his crew. They have all the proper equipment to do the job properly. He was able to reach trees in my back yard from the front reaching over the house. Thank you Jesse! You exceeded my expectations.

Jesse and the crew at Spinell's Lawn and Tree Services took down a massive double trunk oak tree at my home this November 2019. The tree's size and location were both incredible factors for choosing the right tree removal crew. Our yard is fully fenced in with a pool and a large shed and Amtrak's double rail for Metro North and their high speed line trains running every half hour just 15ft away from where the crew needed to bring down a tree. The added problem was that although Amtrak provided a linesman to give the crew a heads up for the approaching train, no equipment like chippers or brush cutters or trucks could access my yard or cross over the tracks from an adjoining street. Somehow, these brave guys got it done under the estimated time of other quotes I got and at a comparable price. Licensed, insured, professional, and when the job was done and debris was blown away, my yard looked better than it started out that day! I recommend them HIGHLY.

Have used Spinells Tree service a couple of times now. Most recent just a week ago. My experience with them is that they offer a fair price and are good at what they do. They left my yard free of any tree clippings and removed an additional small tree at no cost. If you need to have a tree or two or three removed I would recommend Spinells!!!

Spinells was wonderful. First, a clear purchase agreement with a great price. Then, gracious rescheduling when we requested it. Then, thorough clean up after removing a huge tree with severely limited site access. Then, returning to regrade and repair our lawn. All with great communication throughout the process. Really... perfect!

I cannot thank this company enough. From the start, the communication was there, the reliability as well. They respected my entire house and property. They went above and beyond. It’s difficult to know who to trust with things like this, but from the beginning I had no doubts. I highly recommend! Thank you, Spinells!

Jesse and his crew are the best around without a question. Jesse himself came out to price the job immediately after we had submitted a response to his online form which was more than appreciated. He and his crew took care of a big job in our backyard with removing 6 trees. The clean up was fantastic and the end result was everything we could ask for. We could not have been happier with the job Jesse and his crew did for us. Their hard work did not go unnoticed and we cannot say enough great things about them. No need to shop around for different quotes, Spinells Lawn and Tree LLC is the way to go. 10/10 recommend Jesse's services, you won't be disappointed!! Thanks Jesse and team!

A BIG thank you to Spinell's Lawn and Tree for an outstanding job! I recently had two large pine trees removed, and Jesse exceeded all expectations. He was punctual, professional, and offered a quote that was nearly half the price of other companies. From start to finish, Jesse handled everything, tree removal, stump grinding, full cleanup, yard leveling and even seeding the area. The attention to detail and quality of work were truly impressive. I highly recommend giving Spinell a call before going anywhere else. Excellent service from a dedicated professional.

Good quote honest fast safe work!! Highly recommend. Jesse and his crew took great care in their work and care of our property. Quick and efficient tree removal, rehung our gate that had gotten damaged in the storm (they didn’t have to do that I was so grateful) they took care to save my grill bird baths and fire pit which were under the tangled storm debris as well. Everything was raked-all the stray leaves and chipping when they were done. Kind, friendly, above and beyond! Truly a blessing working with them!

This has been the 3rd time Jesse and the Spinell’s Team has come to our house for a job and they have again beyond exceeded our expectations with on of the biggest projects we’ve done together. I can’t say enough good things about Jesse and his team - 10/10 recommend this company to anybody needing tree work!

Jesse came promptly today after the storm earlier today brought down a sizable tree that blocked our driveway. I called at 12 Noon - he came by 2 hours later and removed the tree and did a great job cleaning up as well. Best customer service you can ask for, at a very fair price!

Jesse and his team went above and beyond our expectations. They took down two large trees and pruned two others. They took all the debris and left the backyard in beautiful shape! We met with many tree companies before deciding on Spinells and we couldn’t be happier with our choice!

Great company Would definitely highly recommend A+++

Excellent work - high quality and respectful of property.

I had two large trees taken down and another trimmed back off my house. Jesse and his entire crew were very professional and knowledgeable. They kept me informed the entire time and cleaned up the yard afterwards. They did a great job.I would highly recommend Spinells.

Jesse and his crew did a great job removing my tree. They protected my lawn from the equipment and the area was cleaner after they left. I asked them to leave me some logs for firewood and they put them right where I asked. Highly recommend!!!

They were fantastic! Only company to suggest a solution that worked for me from the 4 other quotes I got. They were on time, clean, and fast. I had large trees, close to the house, and on hills. I would recommend them over and over again.

...Jesse and Company have done 2 jobs on my property in the last two years. I can't say enough enough about the skill and care they use doing a difficult job in some difficult places. We wouldn't think twice about calling him again...

Spinell's has done a wonderful and professional job on our trees. They have been a pleasure and kept us informed during the job of removing our pear trees. I wounk highly recommend them!

This was my second project with Spinells. The crews are professional, timely, reasonably priced and careful. They left the yard better than it was when they started. Highly recommended.

Everything went well. The stump and surrounding large roots were removed. All debris was removed and additional soil added to the hole. The area was seeded too. Recommend Spinells.

Top line tree removal, yard was cleaner when they left than when they showed up. They go above and beyond for there customers and because of that everyone I know recommends them.

Absolutely 💯 satisfied with the work that was done. the job was done early, fast and very clean. They cleaned up after and left everything spotless. Thank you very much.

Jesse and crew did a great job if removing a fairly large tree. And safely. Also did a great job cleaning up after it was all done. Definitely would use again.

Spinells removed a few trees from my property. Their pricing was fair and the work was done efficiently, safely and clean.

We are very happy with Spinnell's service. A friend recommended them when we were getting quotes to have a big tree removed, as it was leaning over the pool & garage. They showed up on time for the quote appointment & on time on the scheduled day to cut the tree down.. A few days prior, they contacted us to confirm and they responded quickly to our emails and phone calls. Spinnell's was professional and very neat. You couldn't tell they were even here after the job was done. We highly recommend them.

Jesse gave me a quote to remove a great deal of storm damage to my mother's property in Branford. He came on the day that he promised. He and his team did an outstanding job! They had all of the right equipment and left the property in excellent shape. He was extremely professional and the price was very fair. I strongly recommend Spinells and plan to use them in the future. They are the type of business that you want to deal with. Thank you!

The crew arrived on time with the necessary equipment. They had us walk the job site to ensure what work needed to be done. They checked with us several times during the day to make sure what they were doing was what we wanted. The job was completed better than we had expected. They didn’t leave until all the work and clean up was done to our satisfaction. The job exceeded our expectations. They will be working here in the future.

Jesse and Spinells Lawn and Tree provided a reasonable quote for a fairly large job (8ish trees, some quite large, challenging property to access). Communication was excellent, they were here on time, and finished most of the work in a single day. The returned the next day earlier than expected and finished the clean up, going above and beyond what was expected. I'd highly recommend them for your tree removal needs.

This is the best experience with a tree and lawn service I have had. Their rates were reasonable and their work was top notch. Jesse and his crew were very knowledgeable and professional and the work was completed on time. At the end of the job, the only sign they were here was a beautiful front lawn, everything was cleaned up and back in place like they were never here. Will definitely do business with them again.

Highly recommend! My neighbor and I needed some trees removed and after obtaining a few quotes decided to proceed with Spinells and couldn’t be happier! Jesse and his crew did a great job removing multiple large trees as well as grinding stumps on my property. I highly recommend these guys to everyone and they would be the first and only call if I ever needed future work done. Thanks Jesse!!

Jess and his team did an excellent job removing a tree today. We have tree limbs overhanging our house and Jess had the proper crab and cut machinery to do the job other companies would not be able to handle ! The team did an excellent job in cleaning up leaving the yard immaculate. Highly recommend them for any of your tree removal needs ! Thanks again Jess

Jesse and the Spinell crew did fantastic work ! Two 70' trees had to be taken down from top to the bottom. No space to land them the traditional way. The entire crew was very courteous and they took the extra steps to not damage driveway, lawn and brick walkways that had to be driven over with a 45,000# truck I highly recommend Spinell Tree and lawn Service. Call them for an estimate. You'll be happy that you called them!!

True professionals that went above and beyond. I finally found a company I can trust. Jesse and his team removed over 100 small trees and 4 large trees from my property. They were able to expand my yard over 20 feet all around! Removed all of the wood, stumps, roots, and even hydro seeded. Very happy with my decision to hire Spinells.

Jesse and crew are amazing! They show up on time, get everything done on time, listen to our ideas and requests, clean up AND follow up! Their prices are beyond fair and I just love talking and working with them. Ten out of ten!

Fantastic experience! So professional, honest and knowledgeable. What a great job was done and completed! Decided to add more tree removal - and Jessie happily added them to the HUGE list . Before and some after pics …. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Definitely the best tree company in the area ! (Yes we have used others )!

Great service, great price, prompt and professional. I'll definitely use them again.

Great job done! Took some trees down that I wanted removed and it made a great distant view! Cleaned up the bank from looking like a jungle and spread wood chips over it, looks nice! Nice crew!

EXCELLENT! Two trees came down, called Jesse, and his crew was there the next morning. Professional and got the job done right the first time. Thank you!!!!!

Had a tree fall on my house in the ice storm back in february. causing damage to my garage and house. While my insurance company couldnt even return my phone Call Jessie was out in no time to make sure I wasnt in any danger. Jessie assessed the situation told me what he can do and was literally here the next day. Besides his promptness jessie was knowledgeable and professional taking down the fallen tree in rapid time and removed it safely. Jessies crew felt like a group of my friends were at my house not so much a contractor. I have trees that are coming down in the near future and theres no doubt I will be hiring Jessie and his guys to do the work. Finances are always a factor when needing work done at your home and I can tell you now from experience Jessie is very fair when it comes to pricing. I look forward to having them Come again.

I have had them do tree work multiple times. They are professional, clean up after the job, and are friendly. (I asked them to leave the stump at that level.)

Jesse and his crew did an excellent job taking down one large red oak and two hickory trees on my property. I had two of the tree roots excavated for a future driveway and Jesse did a thorough job removing the roots which were extensive. He even removed an extra small stump on the property while here. Very professional, prompt, thorough, and left my yard clean. Crew was polite and attentive to surroundings. Now I understand why Spinells was so highly recommended to me. Will use again for future jobs.

Jesse and team did an amazing job on removing the fountain and 5 trees from our yard. Not only prompt, and efficient but made sure everything was cleaned up as well.

Spinells totally rescued a huge area of my lawn back in May! They had to deal with narrow areas, a steep section, and dodging sprinkler heads. They did a stellar job and now I have a full lush lawn instead of ugly dirt and mud. Thank you so much Jesse & Crew!

Amazing fast job! A tree fell on our roof after the recent hurricane. When these guys came in they were in and out within a hour in a half! Everything was cleaned up well and the tree was safely taken off the roof. I would highly recommend their service to anyone.

They are professional on tree care stuffs. Work hard, responsibility and reasonable price. Especially Jessy, thank you very much you made our house brighten and clear.. we do appreciated all you guys help. We do recommend if someone looking for tree care. Thanks again.
