SPINELLS LAWN AND TREE

I don't write reviews often, but I just had to write a review for Spinells. I can't say enough great things about this place! This was our second time using them. My husband called earlier today when a tree that we had been monitoring fell. Today is Saturday. They answered the phone right away and came right over to assess the job and only within 20 minutes or so. (That’s amazing!) It was decided that only a chain saw was needed and that it could be done right then and there. The job was done quickly, professionally, efficiently, and was extremely affordable. We will definitely be doing any future tree work with Spinells. Thank you, you’re awesome!

We had a giant tree fall down and smash our house in a recent tornado that went through Connecticut. Spinells was at a house two doors down the day after it happened because our neighbor called them. The neighbor said they should come down and talk to us, and we are so glad they did. Jesse was very professional and easy to work with. Despite all the madness around that day he was able to walk us through what it would take to get the crane in there later that afternoon and remove the tree from our living room. The trunk was 38" across! The crew got it off the house and finished chopping it up in the dark just in time for a contractor crew to go up and put a tarp on before the rain came back the next day. Spinells agreed to come back and do the rest of the cleanup later on after helping others with emergency services, and over the next ten days or so they came back twice to clean up all the wood, haul the giant stump away, and grind another tree down that had also damaged the house. They removed the mulch, backfilled the hole, graded the land, and even put grass seed down. Zero hassle, excellent service. My neighbor on the other side was still waiting for his "tree guy" to show up and chip the tree that they had down when Spinells had already finished seeding. They are probably not the cheapest gig around, but for the work they did and the timeline they did it on we are 100% satisfied with the cost. They took good care of our property and were very responsive the whole time. We'll be using them again.

Jesse and his team showed up at my house on time with lots of big equipement: huge tree cutter with a 108 foot reach, a chipper, Vermeer skid steer, log truck, chip truck, bucket truck, climbing gear and more chainsaws, rakes and blowers than I could count. Jesse had provided me with a fairly priced quote for the work to be performed. He and his team spent almost two full days removing dead tress and several live trees that were shading the south side of my roof (for future solar). I was impressed with his team as they were cleaning, raking and blowing the yard as they moved around my property. They took away four full truckloads of chips, several log trucks of large wood and left my property raked and blown clean. Jesse was careful with how he drove from my asphalt driveway onto my lawn in an attempt not to further damage my broken up driveway. 25 ton trucks are heavy and could leave tire marks in your yard. If you lawn is soft it's better to let it dry out before they show up with the really big trucks. Luckily for me the ground was dry and pretty firm. Just be aware of your particular situation. I know my RAM4500 leaves pretty good tracks when my lawn is wet. I would highly recommend Jesse and his crew. They have all the proper equipment to do the job properly. He was able to reach trees in my back yard from the front reaching over the house. Thank you Jesse! You exceeded my expectations.

Jesse and the crew at Spinell's Lawn and Tree Services took down a massive double trunk oak tree at my home this November 2019. The tree's size and location were both incredible factors for choosing the right tree removal crew. Our yard is fully fenced in with a pool and a large shed and Amtrak's double rail for Metro North and their high speed line trains running every half hour just 15ft away from where the crew needed to bring down a tree. The added problem was that although Amtrak provided a linesman to give the crew a heads up for the approaching train, no equipment like chippers or brush cutters or trucks could access my yard or cross over the tracks from an adjoining street. Somehow, these brave guys got it done under the estimated time of other quotes I got and at a comparable price. Licensed, insured, professional, and when the job was done and debris was blown away, my yard looked better than it started out that day! I recommend them HIGHLY.

Have used Spinells Tree service a couple of times now. Most recent just a week ago. My experience with them is that they offer a fair price and are good at what they do. They left my yard free of any tree clippings and removed an additional small tree at no cost. If you need to have a tree or two or three removed I would recommend Spinells!!!

Spinells was wonderful. First, a clear purchase agreement with a great price. Then, gracious rescheduling when we requested it. Then, thorough clean up after removing a huge tree with severely limited site access. Then, returning to regrade and repair our lawn. All with great communication throughout the process. Really... perfect!

I cannot thank this company enough. From the start, the communication was there, the reliability as well. They respected my entire house and property. They went above and beyond. A BIG thank you to Spinell's Lawn and Tree for an outstanding job! I recently had two large pine trees removed, and Jesse exceeded all expectations. He was punctual, professional, and offered a quote that was nearly half the price of other companies. From start to finish, Jesse handled everything, tree removal, stump grinding, full cleanup, yard leveling and even seeding the area. The attention to detail and quality of work were truly impressive. Good quote honest fast safe work!! Highly recommend. Jesse and his crew took great care in their work and care of our property. Quick and efficient tree removal, rehung our gate that had gotten damaged in the storm (they didn’t have to do that I was so grateful) they took care to save my grill bird baths and fire pit which were under the tangled storm debris as well. Everything was raked-all the stray leaves and chipping when they were done. Kind, friendly, above and beyond! Truly a blessing working with them!

This has been the 3rd time Jesse and the Spinell’s Team has come to our house for a job and they have again beyond exceeded our expectations with on of the biggest projects we’ve done together. Jesse came promptly today after the storm earlier today brought down a sizable tree that blocked our driveway. I called at 12 Noon - he came by 2 hours later and removed the tree and did a great job cleaning up as well. Best customer service you can ask for, at a very fair price!

Jesse and his team went above and beyond our expectations. They took down two large trees and pruned two others. They took all the debris and left the backyard in beautiful shape! We met with many tree companies before deciding on Spinells and we couldn’t be happier with our choice!
